Anthropic formalizes its $100M Claude Partner Network — TCS named first Global Premier partner

Selling not just a model, but the whole deployment ecosystem

On June 3, Anthropic formally opened the Claude Partner Network's Services Track and Partner Hub. In plain terms: a program that certifies and ranks the consulting and SI (systems integration) firms that help enterprises actually deploy Claude. And it's not small — it launched with a $100M commitment.

What happened

Partners are tiered: Select → Preferred → Global Premier. India's IT giant TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) was named the first Global Premier partner. The program drew 40,000+ applicant firms and 10,000+ certified consultants. It gives enterprises a clear answer to "we want Claude — who do we hire to roll it out?"

Why it matters

This signals Anthropic moving beyond selling models to owning the deployment last mile. Even a great model only gets used once a company wires it into their systems and trains staff. Paving that last mile with a partner ecosystem speeds adoption and deepens lock-in. It also puts a model maker directly into the AI consulting market long held by McKinsey and Accenture.

OpenAI recently announced a $150M partner network, and paired with the Snowflake governed-AI collaboration (also in today's QUICK), the direction is clear: frontier labs are vertically integrating "model → deployment → consulting." Locking in a large SI like TCS is a bet on landing global enterprise customers in one move.

Anthropic's Partner Hub is the bridge from "a good model" to "a model enterprises actually run." The center of gravity in the AI race is shifting from raw model performance to the deployment ecosystem.
